Edmonton-based radio station CFWE started the game about nine years ago and it brings in about $1-million a year for the station – of which 65 per cent is paid out in prize money and 35 per cent is put back into infrastructure. Players say that the game is more relaxing, more convenient, and cheaper than conventional bingo.
